About WAHEGURU

WAHEGURU is a mobile app built to connect Sangat, Sevadars and Gurdwaras in the spirit of seva. Most people don't know the exact term for the seva they need, so WAHEGURU starts from the occasion instead, a new home, a birth, an Anand Karaj, a remembrance, and points people to the right seva and the right person.

What we're building

• A way for Sangat to describe an occasion and get matched to a suitable seva and a nearby, available Sevadar.
• Profiles for Sevadars, Granthi Singh, Paathi Singh, Ragi Singh, Kirtani Jatha, Kathavachak, Dhadi, Kavishri, Gurmat Vidwan, Langri and others, with availability, media and Sangat feedback.
• Verified accounts for Gurdwaras and institutions to manage an official profile, programmes and events, and publish seva openings.
• A Gurbani and Simran experience, Nitnem, search, transliteration and meaning, a daily Hukamnama, and a Waheguru Jaap simran timer.
• A Seva Rank and Trust Score built only from completed seva and real Sangat feedback, always shown with their basis, never a measure of faith.

Where we are

WAHEGURU is not yet publicly available. This website is a preview of the product while it's being built. The app is being designed for Punjabi, Hindi and English speaking Sangat, starting in India and built to work anywhere Sikh Sangat lives.
